MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS • High School Graduation or equivalent AND • Experience in institutional, restaurant, or home cooking preferred • Must possess a food handler’s permit or license; and • Must be able to perform high physical work requiring considerable standing, stooping, bending, and lifting (up to 50 lbs.) • Applicants must pass a background check. |

Pay increases continue with each consecutive yearly rehire until top step is reached. Benefit eligable BASIC FUNCTION The cook shall be responsible for: • Performing duties for food preparation as required by Cafeteria Manager. • Maintaining sanitation standards for Food Service Area. • Maintaining positive work habits. • Performing duties efficiently and productively. • Maintaining and/or upgrading skills. • Maintaining personal qualities appropriate for assigned job. |
