Description

PA2 PRESCHOOL AIDE & MILD/MODERATE @ JRS, 27 HOURS A WEEK

POSITION DETAILS

• Part-time: 27 hrs/wk

• Does not include Health benefits

BASIC FUNCTION

Work involves assisting the teacher in a preschool setting, which provides a comprehensive program to meet educational, emotional, social, health, nutritional, and psychological needs of children.

Our preschools include students with special needs and typical peer students. Job duties may include physically assisting students with tasks like eating, using the bathroom, riding the bus and moving from one classroom to another. In addition, preschool aides may be called upon to provide instructional assistance to special needs students and may also monitor and record a student's progress or behavior in an effort to better meet a student's needs.

Other duties as assigned.
